Zeely AI Review: Is It Legit, Does It Work, and What Does It Really Cost?

Zeely AI in short: an AI tool that turns a product link into ads and launches them on Meta from the app, built for solo Shopify sellers and dropshippers.

Our verdict

Zeely is a registered company with a working app that creates content and launches Meta ads.

The part to read carefully is the billing: a discounted first period that renews at a higher price, a fee on ad spend, and payments that are nonrefundable by default.

Quick answers
  • Is it legit?

Yes. Zeely, Inc. is a registered US company and a Meta Business Partner, rated 4.3 on Trustpilot, where it pays for a subscription, and 4.6 on the App Store.

  • Does it work?

Yes. In our test it made a 9:16 product video in about 4 minutes. Predis.ai scored higher on visuals and on editing.

  • Real cost?

A discounted first period from $19.95, then about $80 every 4 weeks, plus a service fee of up to 12% on your Meta ad spend.

  • Worth it?

It depends on the buyer. It is designed for sellers who have a decent budget and use Meta ads. For anyone who needs scalable costs or brand control, check the alternatives.

  • How to cancel?

Cancel where you subscribed: the web account, the App Store, or Google Play. Deleting the app does not cancel.

Disclosure: Predis.ai makes a competing product. We built this review from Zeely's own subscription, refund, and terms pages, public user reviews, and one side-by-side test on the same product. We note where the two tools differ.

Overview

What is Zeely, and how does it work?

Zeely is an AI tool for content generation. You paste a product link, and Zeely pulls the product details and generates static ads, videos, and short AI avatar video reels.

When you create an ad, you can launch it as a Meta campaign from inside the app, without opening Ads Manager. It is built for sellers and dropshippers who want to run ads without a designer or a media buyer. Plans run on monthly credits that you spend on generating ads.

Why do people search "Zeely scam"?

Most of those searches come from billing surprises rather than from a product that does not work. Four parts of Zeely's terms explain the pattern:

The first period is discounted.

Web plans start with a lower introductory price for a set number of weeks, then renew at full price, about $80 every 4 weeks. Users who miss the renewal price see a larger charge than they expected.

Payments are nonrefundable by default.

Zeely's refund policy states that payments are nonrefundable, with exceptions at its discretion.

Deleting the app does not cancel.

The subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it where you bought it.

Web and App Store are separate.

The App Store sells its own price ladder, and a subscription bought on the web is managed on the web, not in your phone settings.

None of this is unusual for a subscription app, but together it leaves room for surprises. Read the renewal price and the refund terms before you pay, and set a reminder before the first period ends.

Read Zeely's own terms: Subscription and Refund Policy and Terms of Service.

The test

Does Zeely really work?

We ran one test: the same product and the same written prompt in both tools, taken to a ready-to-launch video ad, using defaults and each tool's first output without edits. It is a single test rather than a full benchmark, so treat it as a sample of what each tool does by default.

The test video has no presenter, so the delivery row scores the voice and sound. Credits are each tool's own unit, so the two numbers are not directly comparable.

What we saw

Predis.ai showed the product accurately, while Zeely got it wrong. Predis.ai wrote a better script and handled voice and text well, also Predis.ai's visuals were stronger. Zeely built its video from only 2 frames, while Predis.ai cut between several shots from different angles. Predis.ai's editing made one part of the video far easier to change. Zeely was a little quicker, at about 4 minutes against Predis.ai's 6.

Pricing

How much does Zeely really cost?

Zeely's real cost has three parts: the subscription, the renewal price after the first period, and a service fee on the Meta ad spend you run through the app. Zeely shows two different sets of prices, depending on where you look. Both were checked on 14 October 2026.

The plans on the pricing page

Before you sign up, Zeely's pricing page lists three monthly plans by name. These are not the offers you choose from at checkout.

Starter $29.95/month 2,500 credits / month
Plus $49.95/month 5,000 credits / month
Growth $79.95/month 10,000 credits / month
Where you see it: after you sign up

The offers you actually choose from

After you create an account and answer Zeely's onboarding questions, it asks you to pick one of three offers: a 2-week, a 4-week, or an 8-week plan. Each starts with a discounted first period, then renews at the plan's full price. The first payment is not what you pay from then on.

These offers do not use the Starter, Plus, or Growth names, and the $19.95 two-week offer does not appear on the pricing page. That makes it hard to tell which listed plan, and how many credits, you are buying.

$19.95 for the first 2 weeksthen $39.95 every 2 weeks
$29.95 for the first 4 weeksthen $79.95 every 4 weeks
$49.95 for the first 8 weeksthen $159.90 every 8 weeks

At full price, all three plans cost the same: about $80 every 4 weeks. Billed every 4 weeks, that is about $86.60 a calendar month.

App Store pricing is different

Zeely sells a separate price ladder in the App Store, so the price on your phone can differ from the price on the web. Compare both before you subscribe, and remember that you cancel each one in a different place.

12%

The service fee on ad spend

When you launch Meta campaigns through Zeely, it charges a service fee of up to 12% on your ad spend. An optional annual Booster add-on lowers that fee to 6%. The Booster costs $39.95, billed once a year (about $3.33 a month), and also doubles your plan's credits.

This fee is separate from your subscription, and it grows with your budget. At higher ad spend, the fee can cost more than the subscription itself.

What you pay every 4 weeks

Cost every 4 weeks at the $79.95 full price, not counting the ad spend itself, which goes to Meta.

Uses the 12% fee and the $79.95 full price for 4 weeks, both checked on 14 October 2026. Booster's $39.95 a year comes to $3.07 every 4 weeks.

Verdict

Is Zeely worth it?

It depends on how you run ads and how much you spend.

Zeely suits you if

  • You are a eCommerce seller or dropship on your own, and have a budget to run Meta ads.
  • You want to launch Meta ads without learning Ads Manager.
  • You test products quickly and want ads running the same day.
  • Your monthly ad spend is pretty modest, so the service fee stays small next to the subscription.

Zeely may not suit you if

  • You need predictable monthly costs. The renewal price and the fee on ad spend both change what you pay.
  • You spend heavily on Meta. At higher budgets, the service fee can cost more than the subscription.
  • You need ads that match a defined brand look, or tight control over each part of an ad.
User reviews

What do users say about Zeely?

Zeely is rated on Trustpilot and the App Store. It holds 4.3 on Trustpilot from 4,292 reviews and 4.6 on the US App Store from about 23,000 ratings. On Trustpilot, 65% of reviews are five-star and 12% are one-star, so most reviews are positive, with a smaller group that is very negative. Zeely pays for a Trustpilot subscription, and its profile says it invites customers to review. A paid plan gives a company tools to ask customers for reviews at scale, so read the Trustpilot score with that in mind.

What users like

  • Speed. Users say they get from a product link to a running ad quickly.
  • The phone workflow. Making and launching ads from a phone is the feature people mention most.
  • No Ads Manager. Sellers new to Meta ads mention launching campaigns without learning Ads Manager.
  • Support, for many. A number of reviewers say support resolved their issue quickly.

What users complain about

  • Renewal charges. The most common complaint is a renewal charge higher than the first payment, from users who did not expect the price to change.
  • Refunds. Users describe refund requests that were declined, which matches the nonrefundable terms.
  • Cancelling. Some users deleted the app and kept being charged, or looked for the subscription in the wrong store.
  • Ad results. Some users say their ads did not bring sales. Results depend on the product, the offer, and the budget, as with any ad tool.

The pattern is consistent: most negative reviews are about billing terms, not about whether the app makes ads.

How to cancel your Zeely subscription

Cancel in the same place you subscribed. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription, and a web subscription does not appear in your phone's subscription settings.

If you subscribed on the web

  1. Open the email receipt from your first payment to confirm the subscription was bought on the web.
  2. Go to app.zeely.ai and sign in with the email you used to pay.
  3. Open your subscription settings and select cancel.
  4. Confirm the cancellation and keep the confirmation email.
  5. If you cannot find the option, contact Zeely support at [email protected] and ask for written confirmation.

If you subscribed on iPhone or iPad (App Store)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Zeely.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
  5. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.

If you subscribed on Android (Google Play)

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions.
  3. Tap Subscriptions, then Zeely.
  4. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Cancel before the first period ends. If you only want to try Zeely, set a reminder a few days before the discounted period ends. Cancelling stops the renewal; under Zeely's terms, it does not refund payments already made, apart from exceptions at Zeely's discretion.

Is Zeely free?

No. Zeely does not have a free plan. On the web it starts with a discounted first period, from $19.95 for the first 2 weeks, which then renews at $39.95 every 2 weeks. You need a payment card to start, as with most paid tools.

Zeely's policy states that payments are nonrefundable, with exceptions at its discretion. If you think you were charged by mistake, contact Zeely support quickly and keep a record. For App Store purchases, refund requests go through Apple.

Yes. Zeely has a web app at app.zeely.ai, and we ran our side-by-side test in it on a desktop. If you subscribed on the web, sign in there with the email you used to pay to manage your subscription.

Booster is an optional add-on that costs $39.95, billed once a year. It lowers Zeely's service fee on Meta ad spend from 12% to 6%, doubles your plan's credits, and adds priority support. At about $3.33 a month, the lower fee covers its cost once you spend more than about $55 a month on Meta ads.

No. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Cancel in the place you subscribed: your web account, the App Store, or Google Play.

Yes. Zeely, Inc. is a US company founded in 2022, a Meta Business Partner, and rated 4.3 on Trustpilot, where it pays for a subscription, and 4.6 on the App Store. Most complaints are about renewal charges and refunds rather than whether the app works.

It depends on how you work. Zeely is designed for making and launching Meta ads from your phone without Ads Manager. Predis.ai is built for scalable ads, videos that look like your brand, with reference-ad input, and insights. The side-by-side test above shows both on the same product.
