If you are wondering if Fandom has any relation with the term fans, then you are not wrong. A fandom is a group of people who are empathetic to other people with common interests and likings. This can be applicable to common interests like Television shows, movies, songs, artists, actors, book series, video games, celebrities, entertainment content and movie series.

For instance, “DC has a huge Fandom and I personally like the Batman movies a lot.” Here the person is trying to explain how they are a huge fan of DC series and movies and belong to the fandom of this particular entertainment movie series.
