If you are a fan of someone, then you are a fan girl! How can one know if they are actually a fan girl or tag someone else as a fan girl? If you are extremely enthusiastic or passionate about someone or something, then you are a fan girl. (This of course applies to girls).
You might have heard a lot of people claiming to be fans of celebrities, movie actors, music producers, singers, TV shows and even movies. If they are really obsessed with these movie actors or movies, then they are called fan girls of that actor or movie.
For example, if you are a fan of Henry Cavill, then you can be termed a Fan girl. “I am such a fan girl when it comes to Shawn Mendes.” Here the person is describing how obsessed she is with the singer and is a huge fan of him.
You can use this term to refer to yourself or some other girl who might be a huge fan of someone. It can also be used to explain how someone is so famous that he/she has multiple female fans. Haven’t we all heard over social media that so and so actor or singer has so many female fans? It is exactly the same as this.
If you think you are a fan of a certain movie or song, then you can use this fancy term and express your obsession or liking towards the movie or song. “I’ve always been a Harry Potter fan girlie!” Here the girl is explaining how much she loves the movie series and is a huge fan of the same.
Here are some examples of this social media term –
- “She is such a huge fan girl of Robert Pattinson that she has seen all his movies.”
- “I think I’m more of a Damon fan girlie than Stefan from The Vampire Diaries.”
- “I think she will attend Post Malone’s concert for sure since she is such a huge fan of him.”
- “If you are such a huge fan girlie of him, why don’t you attend his concert with me on Sunday?”
