Reply Guy

Often, we see a lot of comments on posts. People start controversies and the subject of fights in the comment section. Also, we have all seen that one guy who is seen all over the comments in many posts. They write whatever comes to their mind without thinking twice about it. This behaviour can lead to aggressive arguments and make social media an unsafe place. What does Reply Guy mean?

Reply Guy is someone who jumps up on the first opportunity to their unsolicited advice or post excessive comments on posts. They post comments in a repetitive and annoying manner and make things very difficult for everyone. The comments are often overly critical, argumentative, and off-the topic. These comments are usually aimed at gaining attention or starting an argument out of nowhere. This term is often aimed to criticize such behaviour.

This kind of behaviour can lead to various consequences and people may start reporting your account. You may lose access to your social media or get restricted from commenting on other people’s social media accounts. This word can be more like the opposite of ‘Lurker’ who sees everything but chooses to not engage at all.
