Facebook Messenger is a standalone app developed by Facebook that allows users to send messages, share media, make voice and video calls, and interact with various features independently from the main Facebook app. Initially integrated into the Facebook app, this app became a separate app to enhance user experience with dedicated features for communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
